Another fabulous event in August was our attendance at Lempster New Hampshire Old Home Day. We experienced the joy of a small-town community, one I used to visit when I was in middle school, plus a local parade and much more!

I was a wee bit distracted by all of the dogs there, while Justin enjoyed the flag and other event happenings. We were going to enjoy some food from the food truck, but it just didn’t happen.

Off-topic: I got to pet a Burmese Mountain Dog!!! That made my day!

Perhaps the food truck will be at another local event we attend in the near future!

So we did what we always do, arrive early with some coffee in hand ready to set up our canopy. Oh, read this about our canopy mishap at the church fair we attended. There were so many people here, and we did arrive late!

The darn alarm clock was set wrong plus I forgot that we were leaving at 7 am not getting up at 7 am, but we made it before the 9 am start time! That’s all that mattered.

We are super thankful to Bob for inviting us to this event and hooking us up with Jillian who allowed us to set up our Rustic Cabin Designs laser engraved products at Lempster NH’s Old Home Day!

Just like all previous events, we arrived and got our tent all ready for customers.

We were underneath an apple tree which made the scent of apples be the main thing we smelled during our time here. The apples would occasionally fall off the tree onto our canopy or arm if we were not completely under the canopy area.

We sold a lot of signs and at least one pair of my Dad’s butternut earrings and one walnut keychain. We always bring along any wood products Dad has made for us to bring along to these events.

This was a great event that was super busy and right down the road from my cousin, aunt and uncle so I was able to see them during this event. Thanks, Aunt T-L for your business 😉

I am not sure if I’ve ever attended an Old Home Day before, but this one was pretty fun and I’d love to attend more of them as a vendor or just a guest.
